Problem

Helping Visitors Quickly Understand a Large Entertainment Venue

Entertainment venue websites often overwhelm visitors with too many attractions, promotions, and event offerings displayed at once. For High 5 Exchange, the challenge was helping users quickly understand what the venue offers and how to plan their visit. Families, corporate groups, and event planners all arrive with different intentions, yet they must be able to discover activities, explore packages, and move toward booking without confusion.

Complexity

Organizing Multiple Attractions, Events, and Venue Experiences

The platform includes a wide range of offerings such as bowling, arcade games, laser tag, dining experiences, birthday parties, corporate events, community programs, and seasonal promotions. Each section required its own structure while still feeling connected within a single cohesive website. The design needed to support multiple locations, promotional campaigns, and detailed event pages while maintaining clarity and usability across both desktop and mobile devices.

Approach

Experience-First Navigation With Clear Activity Discovery

The design approach focused on helping users discover activities quickly while maintaining a visually engaging experience. Large imagery and visual storytelling introduce the venue atmosphere, while structured sections guide users toward specific experiences such as birthdays, group events, food and beverage, and community programs. Instead of overwhelming users with information, the layout prioritizes clear entry points into the venues core experiences.

System Architecture

Structured Page System Supporting Multiple Visitor Journeys

The website is structured across key sections including location pages, attractions, birthday events, corporate events, food and beverage, community initiatives, specials, and venue updates. Card-based layouts help organize activities and experiences into easily scannable groups, while consistent navigation patterns allow visitors to move between discovery, event planning, and booking actions without losing context.

Key Ux Decisions

Designing for Exploration, Event Planning, and Booking

The interface prioritizes visual hierarchy and clear sectioning so visitors can quickly identify activities and relevant event options. Dedicated landing sections highlight core experiences such as birthday parties and corporate events, allowing different audience groups to navigate directly to the information they need. Reusable layout patterns and consistent calls-to-action guide users toward booking actions while maintaining a cohesive experience across the entire website.

Outcome

A Scalable Website Supporting Attractions, Events, and Community Engagement

The final design delivers a structured and engaging digital platform that allows visitors to explore the venues activities, discover event options, and plan their visit with ease. The website balances energetic visual presentation with clear navigation and organized content, supporting the venues goal of attracting families, social groups, and corporate events while maintaining usability across devices.
